Born August 26th 1983 in Penang, Datuk Nicol Ann David is considered the greatest squash player of all time. She holds records such as: World No.1 for 108 consecutive months, the longest reigning World No.1 squash player, 8 times World Champion, 10 times Asian Champion, 2 Commonwealth Gold medals and 5 Asian Games Gold medals alongside being considered one of Malaysia's most trusted personalities. She was crowned the greatest athlete of all time in World Games history in 2021.

With a mission to give back to the next generation, she established her non-profit organisation, the Nicol David Organisation, in Kuala Lumpur in June 2022 with the mission to empower girls and boys through sport and education by providing an after-school programme that includes Squash and English tutoring to children from low- and middle-income households. She is the Head Coach and the programme currently has 120 children. Her dream is to expand across Malaysia to reach 5,000 children.

She has been awarded an Honorary Masters in Arts by Nottingham University (2006), Doctorate in Science from University Sains Malaysia (2019). She was recently awarded an honorary doctorate by Heriot-Watt University as Doctor of the University in 2022.

Her other involvements include Academy Member for Laureus and she served as National Goodwill Ambassador for UNDP Malaysia. In 2023, she was appointed Deputy Chef de Mission and will be leading the Malaysian contingent to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

Cynthia is an anchor, senior editor and producer at Malaysia’s most trusted* news channel; Astro AWANI.

Apart from anchoring the English Prime Time news programme - AWANI Tonight, she also fronts AWANI Review, a series of in-depth conversations with newsmakers shaping the future of business and society. She is passionate about telling stories that inspire and impact.

To date, she has covered key news events such as the pivotal 14th Malaysia General Election and the twin tragedies of Malaysia Airlines MH370 and MH17. She has also developed a keen editorial acumen in covering corporate and economic stories, following a stint at Bloomberg prior to rejoining Astro AWANI.

She has secured and conducted high-profile interviews with the likes of Christine Lagarde when she was IMF chief, Alibaba’s Jack Ma and a rare interview with Malaysia’s 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah. She frequently interviews public leaders, policy makers and top corporate figures of companies such as Google, Microsoft, Citigroup, Prudential, Petronas and AirAsia, to name a few. She has also delivered an award-winning documentary on drug abuse.

Cynthia was also the anchor for Merdeka Award Roundtable, a programme by Petronas, ExxonMobil and Shell, that brings together thought leaders to discuss issues pertaining to nation building. She was the host of the programme for five years.

Within Astro, Cynthia is known for her competence and leadership in editorial. She was instrumental in conceptualising and launching the channel’s first English-language digital platform featuring insights into leadership, strategy and management.

She hosts fluently in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. Coupled with her sharp intellect, and a thoughtful take on big issues of the day, Cynthia represents the organisation as moderator at panel discussions.

A graduate of UCSI University Malaysia with First Class Honours in Mass Communications Film and Television, Cynthia made it to the final four nominees of the South East Asia Women of The Future Awards 2020.

Lisa is the Chief Financial Officer, Asia, at Aurecon. With 15 years of experience across Asia Pacific and the Middle East in diversified finance roles, she plays a pivotal role in steering the financial health and growth of the organization across Asia. In her current role, she oversees financial planning and analysis, controllership, and risk governance, while leveraging her expertise to optimize financial operations and support strategic initiatives. She has a proven track record in driving profitability and operational efficiency in dynamic and competitive markets. Lisa is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and CPA Australia, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. She is passionate about driving financial excellence and developing talent to drive high engagement and foster a culture of innovation and mastery.

With more than thirty-four years of HR work, Razman has had a wealth of experience covering numerous industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, oil and gas, banking, property development, plantation, engineering and investment holding. In his past roles, he had also overseen the management of occupational health, safety and environment, security, and office administration.

Currently, as the Group Chief Human Capital Officer of FGV Holdings Berhad and its group of companies, his role looks into formulating, developing and implementing cutting edge human capital strategies for the group.

Razman graduated from the International Islamic University Malaysia in 1989 with an honours degree in Business Administration. He also holds a post-graduate Diploma In Personnel Management (1994) from the Malaysian Institute of Personnel Management (now known as Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management or MIHRM). He is a Certified BSC Professional awarded by the Balanced Scorecard Institute and George Washington University College of Professional Studies. Razman had also served as a Panel Member of the Industrial Court.

Dr. Syukri Sudari serves as the Group Chief People Officer (GCPO) at Affin Bank Berhad. In this role, he spearheads Affin’s People Office Metamorphosis Journey. This initiative addresses the evolving demands of the dynamic and competitive banking landscape. Dr. Syukri focuses on implementing strategic priorities while identifying and navigating emerging trends within the industry.

Under his leadership, the People Office Division has undergone a significant transformation. Dr. Syukri has successfully enhanced its influence by integrating talent management, cultural initiatives, and transformation strategies. Notably, he has excelled in developing top talent, planning for key role succession, enhancing the employee experience, and promoting digitalization within the workforce.

Dr. Syukri's influence extends beyond Affin Bank. He actively champions the national human resource agenda. Dr. Syukri serves as the Vice President, a Council Member and the Chairman of Transformation Committee at the Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF), along with being a member of the National Labour Advisory Council (NLAC). Notably, Dr. Syukri concurrently fulfills the role of Executive Committee member at the Malayan Commercial Banks' Association.

Demonstrating his global commitment, Dr. Syukri represents employers at prestigious platforms like the International Labor Conference (ILC) of the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the ASEAN Confederation of Employers (ACE). This dedication underscores his advocacy for employer interests on a global scale. With over 28 years of experience in strategic human capital management, Dr. Syukri has worked across diverse industries such as finance, telecommunications, aerospace, engineering, and insurance. His focus on HR transformation reflects his commitment to fostering organizational growth. He is a passionate advocate for human capital development, actively supporting organizations in achieving their goals.

Dr. Syukri's accomplishments are well recognized. He has received prestigious awards throughout his career, including being named among the "100 Most Influential HR Leaders From Southeast Asia" by ETHRWorld Southeast Asia in 2023, one of the "40 Most Influential HR Leaders Across Southeast Asia" by Peoplehum.com in 2022, CHRO of the year in 2020, and included in the "100 Most Inspirational LinkedIn Icons in Malaysia 2020."

Ruby is a seasoned professional with over 13 years of experience in the banking industry and as an HR practitioner. Currently serving as the Head of Group Employee Experience and Strategic Transformation at Affin Bank, Ruby is a driving force behind the organization's transformation journey. Since joining Affin Bank in 2017, Ruby has been instrumental in developing and implementing innovative strategies to enhance employee experience and drive strategic transformation.

Ruby's expertise lies in areas such as RPA, Digitalization, and Employee Experience. Her deep understanding of these areas has enabled them to develop and execute initiatives that have significantly impacted Affin Bank's operations and employee engagement.

One of Ruby's notable achievements includes developing the People Office Metamorphosis Plan in collaboration with Dr. Syukri Sudari, Group Chief People Officer, Affin Bank, in 2022. This plan has been pivotal in reshaping Affin Bank's approach to Group People Office and has set the stage for a more agile and employee-centric organization.
