Challenges.
Netflix wanted to leverage a single UI and notification framework to enhance, extend, and replace existing Workday capabilities while simplifying its IT infrastructure.
Why Netflix chose Workday Extend.
Netflix was able to implement many apps, including an External Supplier PO Request app that extended the Workday Supplier Portal. The app automated the majority of supplier PO requests. It was developed in fewer than 10 weeks using Workday app components, replacing Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel®, and integrations.
Apps deployed.
Netflix started with the External Supplier PO Request app, and then built other apps, including Internal PO Request, Job Requisition, and Open Connect Inventory Management.
Benefits and results.
