The areas where we have identified Workday Extend to really make an impact are where we want to combine certain aspects that already exist in Workday with a UX that fits On.

Internalizing expertise for continued innovation.
By embracing Workday Extend and fostering internal expertise, On has not only streamlined more HR processes with new custom apps but also established a foundation for future scalability. This internalization of knowledge and skills also increased the speed at which On is delivering new apps.
After we deployed our first Workday Extend app, our decision was to internalize the knowledge and train a team member to build up the knowledge and skills that are necessary to build more apps, faster.
